Justin Gerow
Justin Gerow and his family moved to Charlotte County, FL in 1990. Justin attended Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda, FL and graduated in 1996. He went on to attend Duke University and graduated with honors with a B.A. Degree in Economics in the year 2000.
Justin began his financial career in 2001 while living in Austin, TX. Several years later in 2005, he and his wife Katrin moved back to Florida to open a financial services office in Punta Gorda. For the past 25 years, Justin has had the privilege of working with thousands of families and helping provide them with financial education, investment and retirement planning, debt and budget management, and various insurance product solutions.
In October of 2025, Justin Gerow was excited to open JYG Wealth Management and link up with International Assets Investment Management, LLC (IAIM). His focus has always been, and continues to be, on helping provide middle-income families with simple and straightforward financial education and planning services. He primarily works with individuals and families in the education, law-enforcement, firefighting/first-responders, and public-services fields.
In addition to running a financial firm, Justin has been actively engaged in his community over the past two decades in southwest Florida. He has enjoyed holding leadership positions in various charitable organizations such as the Homeless Coalition of Charlotte County, the Kiwanis Foundation of Charlotte County, the Do The Right Thing program through the local police department, the Punta Gorda Firefighters Pension Board, and the Gilstad Literacy Foundation (promoting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library). Justin and his wife Katrin have also been actively engaged over the past 20+ years in providing both personal and Kiwanis Foundation post-secondary scholarships to deserving local high school students.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys international travel, water sports, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. Justin and his wife Katrin have two children named Dominik and Helena. Dominik is currently a senior at Florida State University studying history, and his daughter Helena will be attending the American University in Paris this fall and majoring in international business and marketing.
